Iris:
As a woman born into an Irish crime family, I’m expendable.
It’s why I’ve extricated myself from that life.
Only now, I’m wrapped up in another one when I witness the death of the president of a motorcycle outlaw club.
And the club’s sergeant at arms has declared himself as my protector… Or stalker.
And I can’t decide if he terrifies or excites me.
Spark:
Too many people have died on my watch in Kabul and New Jersey.
My conscience can’t carry the weight of one more. Especially a pretty young thing with eyes that pierce my truths.
But her family is our enemy. One of many.
And she hates the things I pride myself in standing for.
Until she needs me to play her family’s deadly game. A game to ruin us all.

“Did you just break into my house?” I ask.
Spark ignores the question and kneels next to the bed. First, he places my phone back on the bedside table, and then he places his cool fingers to my forehead.
I bat his hand away.
“Spark. Why are you in my house?”
Concern etches his features. “You don’t have a fever, so that’s good. Why did you turn your light on?”
“I can’t sleep. Too uncomfortable. But now, you need to answer me.”
“Yes, I broke into your house. I saw the light go on, knew Kasey wasn’t here, and was worried you might need help.”
Processing what he’s saying is a lot. “I can’t even . . . Spark. You can’t just break into my house.”
He tilts his head and raises his eyebrow. “I think we just proved I can.”
I huff. “Technically, with a certain set of skills, I’m sure you can break into anywhere. But that doesn’t mean you should.”
“If I think you need help and there’s nobody here to help you, I’m breaking into your house.

The Games We Play is book two in the series Iron Outlaws MC. This is a forbidden MC romance. It can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend starting at book one as the stories do interconnect and you won’t be disappointed!
It’s angsty and unpredictable with violence, action, betrayal, plot twists, and lots of spice. Iris had spirit, bravery and strength. I liked when she let her fire, sass, and witt peek out and I wish she let that Irish temper flare more often. She def had grit when she wanted to channel it. Spark, A.K.A. Tyler, had fierce loyalty and protectivness, the swagger and sexiness, and pure determination to be with Iris. Just like with Clutch, I loved how blunt and unapologetic Spark is.
Cole is on a roll with this series! With a well developed plot, solid supporting characters, and a plot twist you won’t see coming, Cole will leave you wanting more! We’re only two books into the series, but it’s already becoming one of me favorites! I can’t wait to get Saint and King’s story, but I’m also hoping Cole plans to dabble in Mafia romance next, because I think a certain Irishman needs a story!

Only two books into the Iron Outlaws MC series and I am already highly addicted to these men and women. There is just so much grit and strength in the storyline that you just can’t help but become addicted! I said this before in the previous book, but for those of you in the back (lol), put your seatbelts on, it’s gonna get bumpy!!
The Games We Play was unpredictable at every turn. Some of the twists in this story had turns and some of the turns looped so much that I might have audibly gasped in places. If you you’re new to this world, let me be frank and let you know there are no gumdrops and lollipops anywhere in sight. I’m not saying it’s a complete horror show, but there’s a fair amount of violence and true outlaw motorcycle club circumstances at every turn.
I won’t bore you with the details of the greatness that us Iris & Spark, but get ready for fire & sass at every turn! They are magnificent together and as individuals and as we learn more and more about the supporting characters as well, I feel like a junkie who needs her next fix yesterday! These stories could not publish fast enough!
I’ve been a fan, more like a super fan, of Scarlett Cole since she published her first fiction romance and she has never disappointed! No, not every book has been a superstar, but this leap she has taken into this type of romance fiction is a huge one and she has landed on both feet with grace! I am convinced there is nothing this woman could not write and write it well!

Meet S. Cole:
The tattoo across my right hip says it all really. A Life Less Ordinary. Inked by the amazingly talented Luke Wessman at the Wooster Street Social Club (a.k.a. New York Ink). Why is it important? Well, it sums up my view on life. That we should all aspire to live a life that is less boring, less predictable. Be bold, and do something amazing. I’ve made some crazy choices. I’ve been a car maker, a consultant, and even a senior executive at a large retailer running strategy. Born in England, spent time in the U.S. and Japan, before ending up in Canada where I met my own, personal hero – all six and a half feet of him. Both of us are scorpios! Yeah, I know! Should have checked the astrological signs earlier, but somehow it works for us. We have two amazing kids, who I either could never part with or could easily be convinced to sell on e-bay.
I’ve wanted to be a writer for a really long time. Check through my office cupboards or my computer and you’ll find half written stories and character descriptions everywhere. Now I’m getting the chance to follow that dream.
I am represented by Beth Phelan at The Bent Agency, NY.
